Isabella & Alexis – Christmas 2010

Well it’s Christmas Eve and Bella is so excited about Christmas this year. She cannot wait until Santa comes. She plans on giving him a big hug and wants to help him with the reindeer on the roof! We have left out some lollies for Santa, although I saw Bella sneak in a few on her way to bed. Cheeky little monkey. Bella eagerly put her Santa sack at the end of her bed and went & hung Alexis’ over the end of her cot. Alexis is 4 months today and is starting to smile & giggle at her older sister. They are so cute, Scott and I are both loving how much joy they have brought into our lives. Today we had a couple hours spare so I played around in the studio and here’s what I came up with………….

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Sam & Craig & their two beautiful girls Mikayla & Bianca. We were up early (as kids are!) and we headed to the beach for some fun. The girls had a great time, albeit a little camera shy at times. Despite the fact that on this particular day they were more interested in watching the boats cruise past or the birds flying around, I managed to capture a few cheeky grins while running around or playing peek a boo! They are absolutely adorable & were a pleasure to work with. It was great catching up with Sam & Craig – and hey, even their dog Molly managed to get a look in! Here are a few photos of the day

William and Matthew are two happy little kids that attend the same daycare as our own little girl, Isabella. You know how you see someone over and over and you just know you should say ‘hello’ but never seem to find the right way? Or is it just me? I am pretty shy when it comes to stuff like that. So we were excited when Cat’s request came through on our contact form to get some portraits taken. We already knew a little about William and the type of boy he is through meeting him (albeit briefly) at daycare when dropping off/picking up Bella; he’s a very charming and engaging little guy. Cat, it turns out, puts in a few hours each week helping out at the centre; no wonder we saw her so often! To cut a long story short, we had a great time getting to know the Feeney family. The shoot itself was a pretty typical affair when dealing with young children. Both boys had their moments where they were happy one minute then distracted the next. We got some great shots of their different expressions and characters and had a fun time capturing them! Check out some of the shots below.

Welcome Lillyan

I had the pleasure of taking some new born shots of little Lilly & her proud parents. She was 7lb 3oz at birth and nearly four weeks old in these photos. Lilly is so cute, absolutely adorable & a pleasure to work with. Crystal & Antony are wonderful parents & they are just beaming with joy at their little bundle. They make such a gorgeous family. Here’s a sneak peak of their photo shoot.

Recently Scott took some photos of our nephew Alexander for his first birthday. He is such a cute and happy little boy. Garry and Kylie came over for the weekend and it was fantastic to spend some time with them, as we hadn’t seen them since Christmas. He are some photos of the little man. We can’t wait to see you guys again xox

I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing Ben who weighed in at 9lb 9oz. At 14 days he was indeed the little charmer and I had so much fun with him. It’s such an amazing thing to watch a family grow, and I really feel like I have, having photographed Ben’s older brother Scott not so long ago. Congratulations to Natalie & John on their new member of the family.

Alison, Dale & Alex

The other day we photographed Alison and her two boys – hubby Dale and their son Alex. I know Alison through our mother’s group and it was really nice to meet Dale for the first time. John, Natalie & Scott

Here are some family portraits of John, Natalie and Scott. It was a really nice afternoon over at Redcliffe Botanical Gardens, despite all the mosquitoes biting everyone. Natalie’s parents also joined us for the photo shoot and we captured some really lovely moments between them all. Unfortunately John’s parents were overseas at the time, however we have since done another photo shoot to incorporate them – more photos yet to come of this lovely family.

Here are some stunning shots of our nephews, Jack and Riley. Jack is 4 years old and growing up so quickly. Young Riley is only 3 weeks older than our Isabella and it’s fascinating watching them grow up together! The boys are so cute, we love them to pieces!

Cooper & Harvey

We had some friends come over and pose as models for us so as we could test out our new lighting kit. It turns out Cooper absolutely loves having his photo taken, though he was getting sore cheeks from smiling too much! Harvey is such a cutie and at times it was challenging getting him to sit still and smile simultaneously. We had such a great time and hope to take many more photos of this lovely family.
